For my final project in SMAD 202: Video Production, I wrote, directed, and edited a short fictional narrative using a three‑act structure and visual storytelling techniques. This 2–3 minute film challenged me to combine every skill I learned throughout the semester—from camera composition and lighting to continuity editing and sound design.
I wanted to create something cinematic yet emotionally grounded, so I focused on pacing, movement, and visual rhythm rather than heavy dialogue. I also incorporated archival footage to add depth and symbolism, blending it with live action through precise editing and layered sound.
