In SMAD 203, I built my first responsive webpage from scratch using HTML and CSS. Starting with a blank template, I customized every part of the site to reflect a personal topic—designing a multi-section layout, updating metadata, styling with CSS, and embedding media.
Key elements I coded and designed myself:
Semantic HTML with structured content sections
Custom navigation bar with anchor links
Responsive layout with CSS styling and hover effects
Footer color and site ID branding updates
External links, image embedding, and validation through W3C
I earned a 92.38%, with feedback highlighting my clean code, aesthetic coherence, and technical accuracy (zero errors in validator). This project marks my first full-stack coded webpage, combining everything I’ve learned so far about accessible structure, front-end design, and storytelling through digital layout.
