Smad 210- College of Arts and Letters Beat

Throughout the second half of the semester in my News Reporting and Writing course, I was assigned to cover a beat for the remainder of the term, JMU’s College of Arts and Letters. By the end of the semester, I will have written two stories: one event-based story within the College and another focused on external projects that have taken place throughout the semester. I am currently working on the second piece, but for now, here is my event-focused story.
