Smad 210- Localization News Story

For this assignment, I wrote a localization story focusing on food insecurity and how it's affecting students at James Madison University. While food insecurity is a growing national issue, this piece explores its local impact on the JMU community and how the JMU Pantry is stepping up to meet students' needs. Through interviews with pantry staff and students, the story highlights rising demand, ongoing challenges, and the campus-wide efforts to ensure no Duke goes hungry. Written in journalistic style and following AP guidelines, this story brings national headlines home to Harrisonburg.
